Mount Olive NJ police arrested a woman who was allegedly carrying heroin and marijuana at a local vaping shop.
The arrest was made around 6:37 p.m. outside the Vapor Room, which is located on Route 46 in the Budd Lake area of Mount Olive, New Jersey. The Mount Olive Police Department dispatched a police officer to the scene after receiving a report of suspicious activity. A store employee indicated that a woman was inside the store and “nodding off.”
When the Mount Olive NJ cop got to the store, workers directed him to a 2011 BMW parked outside the vape store. The suspect was inside the vehicle and reportedly smelled of marijuana. Additionally, the Mount Olive police officer said that the suspect appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
When the police officer searched the suspect, he allegedly found her in possession of two plastics bags filled with marijuana and multiple glassine bags filled with heroin.
The suspect is a 25-year-old resident of the Great Meadows area of Liberty, which is located in Warren County, NJ. She has been charged with numerous drug crimes, including possession of heroin, simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was released with a pending court date.
