We were able to negotiate a carry order which had the charges carried for 90 days. The defendant attended anger management counseling and as long as there were no other incidents between the parties, the case will be dismissed.

When we again appeared in court a second time, we provided proof of the anger management counseling to the prosecutor. Because there were no other incidents between the defendant and the alleged victim, the simple assault charge was dismissed. Now, the defendant was eligible to file for an immediate expungement to have the arrest removed from his record as well.
