A Lincoln Park NJ man has been charged with sexual assault after he allegedly raped a woman at his residence.
According to Morris County prosecutors, the 33-year-old suspect assaulted the victim after she went to his house in order to get a haircut. The victim was reportedly a customer who wanted the suspect to style her hair.
At some point during the encounter, the suspect alleged had non-consensual sex, including penetration, with the victim.
The victim later contacted Lincoln Park police and said that she had been raped. Police then conducted an investigation and eventually determined that the suspect had committed the sexual offense.
The suspect has been charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact.
