Parsippany NJ police were able to use surveillance footage to bust a man for allegedly robbing a beauty supply shop in Parsippany.
According to police, Robert Schwarz robbed the Royal Beauty Supply in Parsippany NJ. Police said that Mr. Schwarz entered the store, shoved a store employee, and stole two (2) professional hair clippers with a combined worth of approximately $420.00.
Witnesses said that the suspect left the store quickly and drove off on a green mountain bike.
Police later identified Mr. Schwarz by using video surveillance from a nearby business. An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Schwarz after one of the eyewitnesses positively identified him.
In NJ, robbery is addressed by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1. The statute classifies robbery as a second degree felony. If Mr. Schwarz is convicted of second degree robbery, he may be sentenced to ten (10) years in NJ State Prison.
