Police recently arrested a Montville NJ man accused of assaulting a woman at Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
According to PA law enforcement, the 19-year-old suspect was among four Villanova students who had to undergo treatment at a local hospital for ingesting LSD. Emergency medical responders found the students at a Villanova dorm room and took them to the hospital.
After being treated for the drug overdose, the suspect was placed under arrest because he allegedly assaulted a woman while he was in a “drug-induced” state.
The suspect, who is from the Towaco section of Montville, New Jersey, faces criminal charges for aggravated assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
Meanwhile, the suspect’s roommate was also placed under arrest after law enforcement allegedly found him in possession of 37 LSD tablets, as well as an envelope containing what police believe is marijuana.
The roommate faces serious criminal charges for distribution of marijuana and prescription drug offenses.
After being arrested and charged, the assault suspect was being held at a Pennsylvania jail in lieu of a $50K bail amount. The suspect’s roommate was also being held at the same jail on the same bail amount.
