A fugitive was apprehended after Morris County CrimeStoppers made his case its “Crime of the Week.”
The suspect was wanted by Denville, NJ police for several incidents of harassment. He had an active criminal warrant at the time of his arrest.
A New Jersey Transit police officer noticed the suspect. He then notified Denville police and told them where the suspect was heading.
Denville police investigated the information. Eventually, they confirmed the suspect’s identity and placed him under arrest.
The Morris County CrimeStoppers is a nonprofit entity that works with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Morris County Chiefs of Police Association, and the Morris Sheriff’s Office. The CrimeStoppers website highlights major crimes each week and offers a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
