Florham Park, NJ police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying four robbery suspects.
Four men allegedly entered a Farleigh Dickinson University (FDU) building and robbed and assault three university students.
The robberies occurred last November, but Florham Park police did not release images of the men until a month later. The police also did not release any information at the time about what had been taken in the robbery, what kinds of weapons were used, or how badly the victims were injured.
Since first releasing images, several more photos have gone out to the public. This had led authorities to remain optimistic that someone will eventually come forward with valuable information about the robbers.
The alleged robberies and assaults took place in Building No. 7 of the FDU Dormitory Village.
In New Jersey, armed robbery is governed under N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1. As set forth by the statute, robbery is a considered a first degree felony if the actor uses a handgun. If the four men in the FDU robbery case are eventually caught and convicted of armed robbery, they could each be sentenced to 20 years in NJ State Prison.
