Police in Dover NJ arrested a local resident for allegedly using a kitchen knife to stab a man to death.
The suspect is reportedly 21 years old and works as a restaurant cook. According to reports, he is from Honduras.
The stabbing incident reportedly occurred on East Blackwell Street in Dover, NJ. According to authorities, the suspect and the 39-year-old victim might have been patrons at Xclusiv Lounge, a local bar. The two reportedly got involved in an altercation on the street outside.
When the victim was found lying on the street, he was reportedly suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead a short time later.
The suspect was soon arrested and charged with murder. He was also charged with weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspect was taken to the Morris County Jail in Morris Township, New Jersey. He is being held there on $500,000 bail. Additionally, police indicated that the suspect is currently on suicide watch.
