Police in Denville New Jersey recently arrested two women in connection with an alleged prostitution business.
According to law enforcement, the suspects were involved with an illegal sex operation being run out of Lake Spa in Denville, NJ. The spa is located at 317 Route 46 in Denville and was reportedly used as a site for prostitutes to sell sexual services in exchange for money.
Authorities learned about the possible sex crimes and conducted a sting operation at the spa. During the undercover operation, detectives reportedly caught the suspects in the act of offering sexual services for cash.
This is actually not the first time that Denville police have made arrests for prostitution at the spa. Earlier this year, authorities cracked down on alleged prostitution being committed by massage therapists at Lake Spa.
The suspects include a 47-year-old woman from Landsdale, Pennsylvania and a 54-year-old woman from Whitestone, New York. The Pennsylvania suspect has been charged with engaging in prostitution, while the NY suspect has been charged with promoting prostitution by operating a sexually oriented business.
In addition to arresting the suspects and filing criminal charges against them, local law enforcement also shut down the spa.
