Denville NJ law enforcement recently arrested two teenagers accused of committing arson at the local Santa Land.
According to authorities, the teen suspects vandalized the Santa Land located on Clark Street in Denville, New Jersey. The Denville Police Department received a call about a fire at the popular attraction around 7:45 p.m.
Firefighters went to the scene and extinguished the fire, but the blaze still caused extensive damage to the property. The fire reportedly affected the exterior and the interior of the building.
Denville NJ cops investigated and searched the surrounding area for the culprits. Police officers found the suspects nearby and placed them under arrest.
The suspects are reportedly residents of Denville, NJ. They have been charged with criminal mischief. Since the offense is likely to be classified as a juvenile crime, the teen suspects probably won’t face jail time.
