Mount Olive Sex Assault Charges
Police recently arrested two men accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl for several years in Mount Olive, NJ.
According to law enforcement, the suspects began their sexual abuse of the young victim in 2004 and did not stop until 2011. The victim, who is now 21 years of age, eventually came forward and reported the sex crimes.
Authorities opened an investigation into the suspects. This included conducting interviews with the suspects and giving one of the men a polygraph test. At the conclusion of the polygraph test, police arrested one of the suspects.
NJ State Police later went to the other suspect’s home in Budd Lake NJ and arrested him as well.
It is unclear at this time what the relationship is between the two suspects. Both men reportedly live in Budd Lake, New Jersey and both men share the same last name. One of the suspects is 65 years old, while the other suspect is 33 years old.
The suspects allegedly committed the sexual assaults at various locations in Morris County, including Mount Olive and Netcong.
The suspects face criminal charges for aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and child endangerment.
Both men are currently being held at the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown NJ on massive bail amounts.
